The third engine that will be placed to the xDrive35d comes also with 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel inline-6 engine. This type o the engine will provide a little smaller horsepower numbers than above models. The 255 HP will come with the higher torque of 413 lb-ft. As for the fuel economy, it is 24/31 mpg.
Furthermore, if you choose the model xDrive50i it will have the powerful engine that is consisted of 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8. This powerful engine will make amazing 445 HP and torque of 479 lb-ft at 2,000-4,500 rpm. However, the EPA city/highway economy in this one is around 15/21 mpg.
Powerful X5 M Engine
The last one in this line is the 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine. This engine will be under the hood of the popular X5 M model. It is also one of the strongest engines in this series with the 567 horsepower at 6,000-6,500 rpm and 553 lb-ft of torque at 2,200-5,000 rpm. We expect same EPA results like in the outgoing model 14/19 mpg.
Price and Availability of the 2019 BMW X5
The MSRP for a rear-wheel-drive model 2019 BMW X5 sDrive35i is expected to be around $57,000. This price including the $1000 destination charge. If you need AWD system, the price will be increased to $2,300. The Hybrid model xDrive40e is priced $64,000. Furthermore, if you choose the powerful V8 engine that comes in the X5 M you need to cash near $100,000.
