2019 Honda Fit Exterior is more upscale and modern
Now that the 2019 Honda Fit has entered its third generation, the exterior looks more upscale and modern. Honda swapped a slab-sided design with a minivan look, but with lower ground clearance and more muscular shape. The front part includes narrow headlights and new windshield that looks aerodynamic.

As we already said the newest 2019 Honda Fit will be available in four trims LX, Sport, EX, and EX-L. The base one LX trim offers a great amount of standard equipment. 2019 Honda Fit will get Turbo and Hybrid engines
The base model of the upcoming 2019 Honda Fit is equipped with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine. This unit is rated at 128 HP and 113 lb-ft of torque. A four-cylinder unit will benefit from a Variable Timing Control, so the acceleration and fuel economy is boosted even more. Both 6-speed manual and automatic transmission are available. Fuel economy is rated at 29 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway.
As some speculation suggests, new 2019 Honda Fit could get another drivetrain. According to some sources in Japan, this hatchback should get a new petrol 1.0-liter direct-injected three-cylinder turbocharged engine. Moreover, a hybrid variant is an option. A 1.5-liter i-VTEC mill in combination with Honda’s I-MMD system could power the upcoming Fit hatchback.
2019 Honda Fit Price and Release Date
A base LX trim that is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission will cost around $17,500. Fit Sport model starts at $19,000 and EX model at $20,000. Honda Fit EX-L with automatic transmission is slightly over $22,000.
Those prices are slightly higher than Fit’s rivals but have in mind that the new Honda Fit comes with more standard equipment. Latest Honda’s hatchback will go on sale at the beginning of 2019.
