2019 Honda HR-V Exterior is great looking

Honda once again showed the talent for fitting a vehicle in a very small space. The 2019 Honda HR-V is a diminutive hauler, especially when viewed from the side. This SUV looks more like a coupe to be exact, mostly thanks to its sloping roof. The styling design looks even more handsome thanks to rear-window slopes and 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels.

EX and EX-L models will benefit from a moonroof and roof rails. The new exterior paint is Aegean Blue Metallic. The sporty profile is additional boosted thanks to a sharply curves contours. HR-V model offers a list of practical features such as rooftop bike carrier or roof-rack crossbars.

2019 Honda HR-V Interior Updates and Trims

Just like the exterior, the 2019 Honda HR-V suffered few minor interior updates. However, the interior looks modern and upscale. The 4-door SUV is able to accumulate five passengers comfortably. Higher trim levels add leather seating that will make new HR-V a luxurious crossover SUV.

The LCD interface is a 5 inch and is available on all models. Knobs and buttons are nicely placed and within drivers reach. EX and EX-L models opted for a more touch-based system with fewer buttons. The cabin overall looks sophisticated and the outward visibility is good.

For the entertainment, there is a mighty system with a 4-speaker/160-watt. Also, there is Bluetooth connectivity and plenty of USB/auxiliary inputs. Furthermore, with the higher trims, one can choose features like a power moonroof, heated front seats. There are also options to upgrade to the bigger 7-inch touchscreen, touch-sensitive climate system and better audio system with six speakers.

Passenger space is acceptable and the front seats are supportive. However, lumbar support is not in the offer, just like power adjustments. The back seats are equally comfortable as the front one, but the bolstering is far from ideal. The all-new HR-V offers a “Lanewatch” feature. It comes with a camera that is built into the passenger-side mirror and it displays a live video of vehicle’s right side when the right-turn signal is on. This system covers four times bigger area than the regular side mirror.

Safety Features

Like many SUVs in this class, the newest 2019 Honda HR-V will come with advanced safety. The Back-Up Camera, Rear Child Safety Locks, Low Tire Pressure Warning, VSA Electronic Stability Control and plenty of fronts and rear Airbags with Curtain for the first and second row are some of them.
