The approaching 2019 Infiniti QX30 is a Japanese luxury crossover-SUV that will face some strong rivals like Audi Q3, BMW X1, and Mercedes-Benz GLA. QX30 shares the same chassis and engine with Mercedes-Benz GLA250 model. The front-wheel-drive is standard in the basic model, but trim levels like Sport, Premium, and Luxury offer a more recommendable all-wheel-drive system.

All models of 2019 Infiniti QX30 will use the same engine. The 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine will power new Infiniti’s model. This powertrain can produce 210hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. As mentioned, the same engine is in the Mercedes-Benz GLA 250. The engine is perhaps not the most powerful in SUV segment, but it is responsive and smooth. Furthermore, it comes with a paddle-shiftable 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The acceleration is very good, and there is a start/stop system that will increase fuel economy. This model will accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.2 sec. Front-wheel-drive is coming as standard on the basic model, while all-wheel-drive is optional.
2019 Infiniti QX30 Fuel Economy
The fuel economy with loaded AWD is 21 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway. The manufacturer didn’t provide any further information, but we expect that more powertrain options will be available, depending on the market.
2019 Infiniti QX30 Price and Release Date
The base model comes with lots features and it cost around $31,500. The Sport model with the new audio system and a power moonroof starts at $40,000. Top-range trim that comes with almost all options loaded will hit the $45,500 bar. Don’t expect to see 2019 Infiniti QX30 on the markets before the new year. As we already mentioned at the beginning, the main opponents are BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA, Lexus NX 200t and Audi Q3.
