The shape of the front grille is new and esh is in black, and headlights come with a LED strip at the top of them.
Down below the air dam is larger, just like the corner vents. The hood is stylish, especially the front end. The roof isn’t that sloped as on the concept, but rear overhang and taillights are literally the same. The LED units are thinner at the back, something Infiniti worked on in recent months. Like the predecessor, the new model will have the same pallet of colors Black Obsidian, Graphite Shadow, Liquid Platinum, Majestic White, Malbec Black, Midnight Garnet and Hagane Blue.
2019 Infiniti QX50 Interior is comfy with notable changes
The cabin is not far from futuristic but it does look luxurious. The dashboard is nicely blended with the door panels and upper trim levels are offering soft-touch surfaces.
The infotainment system of the 2019 Infiniti QX50 adds two displays and many of interior functions are controlled via the lower touchscreen. This comes handy as a single screen replaces numerous buttons that are thrown all over the cabin. Semi-digital cluster is a standard, while all-digital comes as an option. Interior colors include Chestnut w/Leather-Appointed Seat Trim, Graphite w/Leather-Appointed Seat Trim and Wheat w/Leather-Appointed Seat Trim.
Both front and rear seats are comfy and seats are in 40/20/40 split layout. The rear seats fold flat for additional cargo room. Furthermore, the rear seat infotainment system is entertaining and it comes as no surprise. After all, 2019 Infiniti QX50 is a modern SUV with latest modern features. Speaking of features, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are included, just like the Wi-Fi connectivity, gesture control, dual-zone climate control and new sound system.
The newest 2019 Infiniti QX50 SUV will be available with three trims. This includes PURE, LUXE and Essential. All this trims come with a huge amount of features.
The base one PURE will get the front-wheel drive as standard and all-wheel-drive system as optional. It brings Chrome door handles, Body-colored front and rear bumpers with black rub strip, Power door mirrors, Power Liftgate, Seatback storage pockets, Integrated key/remote, Front dual zone A/C, Cruise control, Remote keyless entry, Remote keyless entry and many more.
The next LUXE and Essentials trims will also get standard front-wheel drive and AWD as optional. These trims will be much more equipped, some of the features that both have are 8-way power passenger and driver seats, Leatherette Upholstery, Carpet cargo space, Wireless phone connectivity, 6 speakers, Metal-look rear bumper insert and Spoiler.
2019 Infiniti QX50 Engine that is fuel efficient
Just like the exterior, the all-new 2019 Infiniti QX50 offers potent and efficient engine. After all, what is under the hood it matters the most. A new 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine is a drivetrain that powers the new QX50. This engine is the world’s first unit with variable compression technology.
It means combining the power of gasoline with the efficiency and low-end torque of a diesel. On top of that, this advanced system takes a full advantage of the turbo’s power and it maximizes fuel economy.
This drivetrain is capable of producing 268 HP and 280 lb-ft of torque. The 2019 Infiniti QX50 hits 0 to 60 mph in 6.2 seconds for the AWD version. However, with the front wheel drive system, it runs from 0 to 60 mph in 6.7 sec. The top speed of this model is 130 mph. We must add that this engine is also used in models Audi Q5 and BMW X3.
2019 Infiniti QX50 Price, Release Date and Competitors
The approaching 2019 Infiniti QX50 starts at $37,000 for the Pure model. However, the Luxe model cost $40,000, while popular Essential go up to $45,000. This is a slight price increase if we look at the last year’s model. The newest Infiniti’s SUV will hit the dealerships at the beginning of 2019.
