Thanks to the current 4Runner’s popularity, the 2019 Toyota 4Runner is already a hot topic among both truck and SUV aficionados. This is not surprising, given how the upcoming model will go through a major exterior facelift, and perhaps even get a new engine.
Even though the current model is considered successful, it still drew some criticism at its launch. In most cases, the customers were not particularly impressed by its exterior look. The upcoming 4Runner looks to address that with plenty of design updates, which will surely make the vehicle much more appealing.
2019 Toyota 4Runner Exterior Look and Redesign
As we’ve already said, the 2019 Toyota 4Runner is expected to have a much more attractive and athletic look. The vehicle will have new design touches all over its body. The latest images show the intentions of the Japanese engineers to combine the truck’s familiar ruggedness with modern SUV trends.
As a result, the 4Runner will have a smaller, but more aggressive-looking grille. Restyled LED headlights will complement the grille, along with larger intake vents. In addition, we will most likely see new bumpers and much smoother lines on the SUV’s sides. Changes will also come in the form of redesigned 20-inch wheels, as well as some attractive curves and sleek tail lights in the back.
